Tring is a town on the Buckinghamshire border.
It was home to the great grandfather of President George Washington of the United States. Its narrow road, the old Roman road of Akeman street, has been relieved to some extent by a new bypass, the new A41, but on a Saturday the town is still a slow crawl for the traffic.
