The small town of Codicote. The building in this photo use to be The George And Dragon pub but is now a Chineese resturant. Once there used to be a medieval market in front of the George And Dragon but it vanished in the mid sixteenth century. |

Boys playing football under the shadow of the Digswell Viaduct. Consisting of 40 arches, 100 feet high and 1500 feet long it was built in the late 1840's by the Great Northern Railway Company. The first train passing over it on the 8th August 1850 and is now used by trains running between Kings Cross and Edinburgh. |
